The Shimano Nexave FD features a dark blue body and blue graphic on the spool for a modern look. The Shimano Nexave FD reels feature a lightweight XT7 body. Fitted with a Propulsion spool for easy and accurate casting the new Nexave reels also contain a Shimano roller bearing and ball bearing for smooth performance.
